Community Service Opportunities

At Beautiful Savior

To serve Christ and His Church, many opportunities exist for members to use their talents and time in both voluntary and elected, one-time and recurring positions.

Whether it is teaching, organizing, singing, reading, greeting, financial or property management, visiting shut-ins or prospective members, babysitting, ushering, crafts, artwork, writing, painting, small repairs, or whatever else, there is something for everyone at Beautiful Savior.

Beautiful Savior Service Club

Children two years old through 8th grade and their families are encouraged to be part of the Beautiful Savior Service Club, and the broader congregation often is invited to support their projects as well. The goals of the club are to help create servant hearts in our children at a young age and to contribute in a meaningful way to the church and local communities. A monthly service project will take place from September through May. Please watch your email for event details if you have a child within this age range.

Comfort Club

Comfort Club is an extension of “Inspiring Comfort” which is a social good company that teaches care and connection through the skill of comfort. Their mission is to create a culture of comfort in a socially disconnected and hurting society. Beth DeJongh and Rachel Strand lead Comfort Club sessions for 7th and 8th grade students on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m. with the goal of fostering empathy and developing character.
