SUNDAY SCHOOL

Beautiful Savior has always placed a high priority on the Christian education of its children. We are thankful that our Lord has blessed us with children who, supported by their parents, wish to enjoy the benefits of weekly Bible study.

In addition to the Biblical subject matter, the Sunday School superintendent and staff have worked to encourage the children to try to meet the needs of others with mission projects such as this year's Food for the Poor. Food for the Poor is an organization that works in the Caribbean and Latin America. The children will be able to decide as a class how their offering money will be spent. They will remove a photo of an item they wish to "purchase" for Food For the Poor from a display in the hallway and mount it in their classroom. We thank you for your support of last year's mission project: we were able to send a check to Heifer International for $1000. Little children can make a big difference in the world!

Sunday School begins shortly after 10:00 with snack time, followed by 15 minutes of activity time. The activity will either be a craft, a game, or singing. Anne Putterman has volunteered to prepare crafts for the children, and we are looking forward to this new fun addition to the Sunday School hour. Classroom time will be from 10:30 to 11:15.

Your children's teachers are ready to teach God's love to your child, and to demonstrate it with their words and actions. They are:
