Rev. Philip Hillenbrand has served as the pastor of Beautiful Savior since early 1998. Since then, the congregation has experienced significant and exciting growth. Pastor Hillenbrand previously served congregations in Connecticut and Alaska. He has worked diligently to enrich the spiritual growth of the membership of Beautiful Savior through the scheduling of numerous special interest Bible study groups. He's also made it a priority to encourage interested Concordia University - Wisconsin students to become active members of the congregation and has served on CU-W's adjunct faculty. In the past several years, Beautiful Savior has provided future pastoral students at Concordia with the opportunity to serve as Worship Assistant. These include Rev. Richard Schneider, now a pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Kettering, OH, and also Nate Wollenberg and Chris Davis, now seminary students at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. Rev. Emeritus William Otto celebrates his 50 years of ministry to the Lord this Spring, 2011. Rev. Otto Served Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Mequon for 30 years and is now retired and aiding with the Church. He also resides on the Board of Regents at the near by Concordia University Wisconsin. |

Gloria Hansen, vocal choir director: Gloria brings much talent to the position. She has a Master of Music (in Choral Conducting) and Bachelor of Fine Arts - Music (in vocal performance). She is currently Assistant Director of Choirs at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. |

Chris Canapa, bell choir director: Chris also comes with impressive credentials. He has a Bachelors degree in Music from Concordia University, Mequon and a Masters degree in Music from the University of Minnesota. He plays and teaches brass and piano locally and has played with a number of Wisconsin city orchestras, including the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra and the Festival City Orchestra in Milwaukee. |
